ABOUT
Diane Clarke, Private Tour Guide
Hello and thank you for visiting my website.
After a career in the fashion manufacturing industry, I qualified as a Blue Badge Tourist Guide in 2001.
Since then, I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing my passion for Britain's beauty and history with travellers from around the world.
Beyond the Heart of England
I am often asked to tailor tours in other regions of Britain. It’s not unusual for a trip to start in the Heart of England and continue to Stonehenge, Bath and the South Coast, across to the Welsh Borders or up to York, The Lake District and beyond.
Calling on my network of guiding associates and specialist subject experts across the country , I am always happy to organise activities and interests that you may not otherwise find for yourself. Whether fly-fishing in the Lake District, cruising the canals of my home town, learning how make the quintessential English Cream Tea or simply enjoying a walk in our green and pleasant countryside.
Birmingham
I have seen many changes to my home town over the last 20 years. From a city with a reputation for heavy industry Birmingham has become a highly regarded centre of excellence in all areas of business and culture.
A wide variety of restaurants, great shopping, museums and galleries plus numerous local attractions make Birmingham a popular tourist destination with leisure and business visitors alike.
Shakespeare Country
& The Cotswolds
& The Cotswolds
Just a forty minute drive from Birmingham city centre are the famous ‘Shakespeare Country’ towns of Stratford upon Avon and Warwick with the Cotswold hills beyond.
Whatever your reason for coming to the Heart of England and however much or little time you have to spare, I would be delighted to tailor a walking and/or driving tour that will help you discover the hidden Heart of England
