Hello, I’m Diane, a qualified Blue Badge Tourist Guide for the Heart of England Region providing personalised, private tours across the UK .

‘Born and bred’ in Birmingham, after a long career in the fashion manufacturing industry, I qualified as a Blue Badge Tourist Guide in 2001.

Making a career of sharing my passion for Britain’s beauty and history  has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Heart of England

The Heart of England region has many rural and urban delights and a rich history. From the vibrant city of Birmingham with it’s fascinating Industrial Heritage to  Shakespeare’s birthplace in Stratford upon Avon,  there is a wealth of cultural and sightseeing opportunities.

I have seen many changes to my home town over the last 20 years. From a city with a reputation for heavy industry Birmingham has become a highly regarded centre of excellence in all areas of business and culture. A wide variety of restaurants, great shopping, museums and galleries plus numerous local attractions make Birmingham a popular tourist destination with leisure and business visitors alike.

In conclusion, once you write an article, make certain it is not only exciting but compelling enough to get your audience wanting more. There is but just one way of composing an article, and that’s to plan it. At case of students, it’s the customized service which really helps perfectly outline and write the extensive essaywriting.

Shakespeare Country & The Cotswolds

Just a forty minute drive from Birmingham city centre are the famous ‘Shakespeare Country’ towns of Stratford upon Avon and Warwick with the Cotswold hills beyond.

Whatever your reason for coming to the Heart of England and however much or little time you have to spare, I would be delighted to tailor a walking and/or driving tour that will help you discover the hidden Heart of England and beyond.

Beyond the Heart of England

Whilst I specialise in central England, my tours often stretch to the furthest corners of the UK.  It’s not unusual for a trip to start in the Heart of England and continue to Stonehenge, Bath and the South Coast, across to the Welsh Borders or up to York,  The Lake District and beyond.

Calling on my network of guiding associates and specialist subject experts across the country , I am always happy to organise  activities and interests that you may not otherwise find for yourself. Whether fly-fishing in the Lake District, cruising the canals of my home town, learning how make the quintessential English Cream Tea or simply enjoying a walk in our green and pleasant countryside……

If you are seeking a bespoke, authentic and flexible travel experience in UK then please get in touch.

On Tour With Me

Many of my guests come from across the globe including USA  and Canada.  Some have returned  year after year to cover different regions and it has been my privilege to create bespoke tours that are away from the usual tourist trail.

I love every minute spent  showing so many interesting people the hidden gems of this beautiful country and I plan to continue for years to come.

Please contact me if you would like further information – Rest assured you will be given my full enthusiasm, care and attention.

Look forward to hearing from you soon.
